South Park Commons 2018 Hackathon

Make it happen in 24 hours

On August 4-5, South Park Commons will bring together
50 of San Francisco’s best engineers, designers, and product
thinkers for a one-day hackathon at our space in SOMA.

You’ll get to meet some of our members, collaborate on
challenging projects, and compete to win cool prizes.

Who can come to the event?

The South Park Commons Hackathon is open to technologists of all stripes. Whether you’re in school, new to the workforce, or an industry veteran, you’re welcome here.

Where is it? How do I get there?

South Park Commons is located at 112 S Park St, San Francisco, a 15 minute walk from BART and 10 minute walk from Caltrain.

See how to get here.

Does it cost anything to attend?

Nope. We’ll provide food, wifi, and a place to work.

What is the schedule?

We’ll kick off the hackathon with a mixer at 10 AM on Saturday, August 4. Use this time to meet others and form groups. We’ll hack through Saturday, then meet up Sunday morning for presentations and judging.

Is there a deadline to apply?

Yes - please apply by end-of-day Thursday, July 26.

I have a question that’s not listed here.

Fear not. We’ll reach out to all applicants over email with next steps a week before the hackathon. In the meantime, email with any pressing questions.

Judge and prize information will be announced shortly.
